English PLUS+
All afternoon and evening activities, day trips, evening trips and the London stay are included in the standard price for a stay at Dean Close. However, many students take up additional activities at an extra cost. The English Plus activities allow students to make the most of the wide range of facilities available at the school and locally.
Horse Riding
Students learn how to ride, jump and look after horses with qualified instructors in the beautiful Cotswold countryside.
Tennis Coaching
Students receive coaching and guidance from a professional and qualified tennis coach. The course takes place at the school's own tennis courts and focuses on key skills as well as game play.
Dance
Students will receive tuition in street, modern and jazz - all in the Dean Close dance studio. The course will culminate in a performance in front of staff and students in the school's own theatre.
Adventure Sports
This course is for more adventurous students and includes tubing, sailing, kayaking and raft building, as well as an adventure course, wall climbing, go-karting and laser quest.
Intensive English
This course is available to students of all levels and offers an additional 2 afternoons per week to develop our students' English Language skills. There is a maximum of 8 students per class with a focus on pronunciation and fluency.
Philosophy and Debating
A course for Upper Intermediate and Advanced Level English speakers, who enjoy the challenge of expressing their ideas in English and discussing more complex topics with their fellow students.
